Winter Bowling Leagues are finishing up.
With the winter bowling leagues coming to a close, and the short summer leagues getting ready to start, the Traverse City Women's Bowling Association would like to thank all of the many people who have contributed to this past years very successful season. We are hoping to make this upcoming year as fun and enjoyable to all. We would like to invite you to stay informed about upcoming events and activities through the website by checking in occasionally. We are always looking for new ideas that will help us to improve bowling in Traverse City. If you have a suggestion, please contact one of the current board members listed on the "Who We Are" page by email, phone, standard mail, or drop items off for the board at the service desk at Timberlanes. We sincerely appreciate your participation, and look forward to representing Traverse City's women bowlers for years to come. Thank you Traverse City!

Traverse City bowlers came out in style March 8th at the Park Place Hotel to induct three new members into the Traverse City Bowling Hall of Fame. Over 240 bowlers, and their families attended the banquet which also awarded the winning teams and participants of Traverse City's recent Men's and Women's tournaments. Despite a few events being cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, the tournament overall has been a complete success. Fourty eight teams competed over the three weekend event. Additionally, fifty doubles and one hundred singles rounded out the competition. See some photos of the event. Photos 1 Photos 2

Congratulations to Roy's General Store Team, (Shirley Bowman, Kathleen Hentschel, Tracy Leffew, Sheila Hentschel and Michele Brandt), for their score of 3131 points earning them a 1st place showing in the team events. Kathryn Stone and Jennifer Savage clinched the Doubles event with a combined total of 1336. The Singles event winner was Nancy DeVantier with a 707, and Kathryn Stone took the All Events title with a 2076 Score. Congratulations to all of the winners!
